Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Silver Star Line Marking. We are committed to providing reliable, professional parking lot and pavement marking services. Please review the following Terms and Conditions, which outline the responsibilities and expectations for both parties.

1. Liability

Silver Star Line Marking is not liable for damages or losses beyond our control, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, property damage, or non compliance with applicable regulations.

2. Scope of Work

Our services are based on the information, plans, and requirements provided by the client. Any changes to the scope of work, site conditions, or project requirements may result in additional charges.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project information.
  • Ensuring the work area is accessible at the scheduled time.
  • Removing all vehicles, equipment, and other obstructions before work begins.

If we are unable to complete the work due to blocked access, a $50 return visit fee may apply. Additional work resulting from incomplete site preparation or inaccurate information may also result in additional charges.

4. Weather Policy

Work may be rescheduled due to rain, moisture, temperature, wind, or other weather conditions that may affect product performance. Line painting is not recommended below 10°C in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.

5. Crack Sealing

Crack sealing helps reduce water penetration and extend the life of asphalt pavement. Due to natural pavement movement, seasonal expansion and contraction, and normal aging, existing cracks may reopen and new cracks may develop over time. This is considered normal pavement behavior and is not a defect in the crack sealing application.

6. Payment Terms

  • Deposits: A 50% deposit is required for projects over $2,000 or those including special order items such as signage, custom stencils, rubber wheel stops, rubber speed bumps, or other custom materials. Deposits are applied toward your project and help us hold your scheduled time. If a project is canceled, the deposit cannot be refunded.
  • Payment: Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
  • Late Payments: A 3% monthly fee applies to overdue invoices. Invoices unpaid after 3 months may be sent to collections, with the client responsible for any associated collection costs.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, cheques, e transfers, credit cards, and online payments.

7. Cancellations

Projects may be canceled at any time. Deposits are non refundable and are retained to cover project planning, scheduling, and any special order materials.

8. Changes to These Terms

Silver Star Line Marking reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

By requesting an estimate, approving a quotation, or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
